Does Read. Online charge for a classified ad or is it absolutely FREE?
All classified ads on Read. Online are absolutely FREE. (Good news indeed).

Who will see my ad on Read. Online?
Your ad will be seen by residents of the UAE and the rest of the GCC region in particular, along with the whole world in general.

Before you can post an ad you have to create an account on Read. Online. How can I create my account?
• On the Read. Online Classifieds homepage, click on the Register link.
• On the Register page, Fill in the details in the required fields.
• That’s it. You are registered. Start posting ads

How can I edit or change my profile or account details?
You can easily edit or change your profile or account details at any time by doing the following:
• Log into your account with your username and password.
• Click on your name on the top right hand side of the page.
• Click on the Dashboard link. And then click on ‘Edit Profile’
• After you make all your changes, click on the ‘Update My INFO’ button to save the changes.

I have forgotten my password. What should I do?
You can receive your new password by clicking on the Forgot Password link. By doing so, you will receive a new password in the email address that you used to sign up for an account.

How do I place an ad on Read. Online?
To place an ad, log into your account using your username and password. Then, do the following:
• On the menu bar, click on the Place a Free ad button.
• On the Category page, select the category you want your ad to appear in.
• Fill in all the details of your ad and upload up to 5 images of the item you wish to sell. Check out.
• To preview your ad, click on the View my ad button.
• If you wish to edit the ad or add or delete information, click on the Edit link.

For how long will my ad be available on Read. Online?
Your ad will be available on Read. Online Classifieds for 30 days, after which the system will automatically delete it.

What is a Featured Ad?
A Featured ad is an ad that appears on the home page.

Why has my ad been rejected?
An ad can be rejected if it does not meet our Terms and Conditions.

How can I edit or delete my ad?
To edit your ad, do the following:
• Log into your account using your username and password.
• On the dashboard page, click on the My ads button.
• On the My ads page, find the ad you wish to edit and click on the Edit link. • After you finish editing the ad, click on the Save button to save the changes.
To delete your ad, do the following:
• Log into your account using your username and password.
• On the dashboard page, click on the My ads button.
• On the My ads page, find the ad you wish to delete and click on the Delete link.
• After you finish deleting the ad, click on the Save button to save the changes.

Can I know how many times my ad has been viewed?
Yes, you can. To know how many times your ad has been viewed, do the following: • Log into your account using your username and password.
• On the dashboard, go to the My ads page and click on the View stats button.

What must I do to upload images for my ad?
• You can upload up to 5 images (photos, illustrations, etc.) per ad. Try to only upload images that are horizontal (landscape) as these work best for viewing purpose.
• You can only upload images that are in .jpg, .png. or .gif. You cannot upload .pdf images.
• Each image must not be more than 300KB in size.
• Images must be relevant to the ad, must not break any laws, etc.
• When posting car images please mask/hide the number plates.

How can I search for ads on Read. Online?
To search for ads, do the following:
• Select the category you wish to explore. For example: Jobs, Accommodation, Cars, Classifieds.
• Then, type one or more search terms in the Search box.
• Select the matching terms from the suggested list that appears.
• Now, choose to explore the search results.

How can I contact a seller?
You can directly contact a seller via the contact details provided in the ad. Depending on the seller’s preferences, you should be able to make contact via email, call, SMS or WhatsApp.
